Shane’s House
Sober Living Facility
Shane’s House is our structured recovery house located on the property adjacent to Little Creek Lodge. We created this structured home to help residents build a strong foundation in the early processes of recovery. Shane’s House gives residents the time and accountability they need to work on their recovery while maintaining focus on their personal and professional goals. Here, adult men will learn what it means to truly grow and become empowered.
All potential residents will be interviewed prior to admission to make sure they are clinically appropriate and a good fit for the house.

Time for work and time for play
Little Creek Recovery has always supported time spent outdoors, and residents from Shane’s House are invited and encouraged to take advantage of the track and field area, volleyball court, basketball court, on-site gym, and various other amenities the program offers. We also have a firepit on the property for residents to use and enjoy.
Why choose Shane’s House for sober living?
Aside from all the beauty, Northeastern Pennsylvania has to offer, there are a number of reasons why Shane’s House might be the best choice for your needs.
- Access to 24-hour care
- Less than 30 minutes away from Marywood University, Scranton University, Penn State Worthington and Lackawanna Junior College
- Autonomy over your own life
- A stress-free environment in which to work on yourself
- A caring, empathetic staff, many of whom have been where you are right now
- Access to Little Creek Lodge’s resources
Shane’s House was designed for men who are internally motivated for recovery but would benefit from further structure and guidance as they transition back into the community. We offer a few programs within Shane’s House to assist residents with budgeting, help with local employment, and work towards discharge planning. The ultimate goal of Shane’s House is to help adult men find themselves again, so they can reintegrate into society. More often than not men in this situation need to learn how to live again. Here, they can learn what it is to have responsibilities and how to be held accountable for their actions, so they can take those tools and build a new foundation for themselves when they leave.
Here, you will never be a treatment number, you will always be a member of our community and our family. We will give you the tools you need to assist you on your path to a sober and happy life.
