As co-founder of Little Creek Lodge, my responsibility is to provide the best possible environment for residents seeking help in our extended care program for substance abuse. I believe we have assembled the finest treatment team to provide the education needed for the recovery process and to ensure that our program is effective in its delivery.
Education:
A graduate of State University of New York (S.U.N.Y.) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services and Addiction Counseling. I am a certified addiction counselor (CADC) in the state of Pennsylvania. I have been working in the substance abuse filed since 1995.
Music:
As a professional drummer and musician, I have performed world-wide with C&C Music Factory, Gary US Bonds, Taylor Dane, Kim Simmonds of Fog Hat, The Brat Pack, Cover Girls, Lissette Melendez, Scott Weis Mike Miz, and many others. I have appeared on Saturday Night Live, The MTV Music Awards, American Music Awards, The Arsenio Hall Show, and The World Music Awards in Monte Carlo.
Employment experience:
- Little Creek Lodge, co-founder. Little Creek was built in 2007 as an Extended Program for adult males in Lake Ariel Pennsylvania; 12 Step based with clinical modalities and Adventure Trek formats.
- Clear Brook Treatment Center in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, from 1996 to 2006, as lead counselor.
- Marworth Treatment Center in Waverly Pennsylvania, was employed 1996 1 year, as 2nd shift counselor. Marworth is recognized as a national leader in alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, with highly specialized addiction treatment programs that address a person’s unique medical circumstances.
- The Integrity House. I was employed for 2 years in 1994 as a primary counselor; Integrity House is CARF accredited and state licensed.
