Native to the area, Paul Mang grew up loving the outdoors and his passion for lifelong activities is what he offers to the team at Little Creek. For 17 years, Paul and his family owned and operated Northeast Sports in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. The business catered to sporting enthusiasts and provided all components needed to enjoy the outdoors. Initially a retail store, it expanded to Northeast Wilderness Experience, in which Paul’s desire to teach others about canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and camping became part of his guided trip business. Previously, Paul was President of the Friends of Prompton State Park, a group that was committed to better the community and to continue to foster ecotourism in the Wayne County.

Paul’s love for sharing the outdoors with others is something he is honored to do here at Little Creek. His mission and calling is to rekindle the desire of residents and get them involved in the outdoors. Over the past couple of years, Paul has mentored alumni in additional outdoor activities such as kayaking, snowshoeing, and his true love – hunting. It is his belief that the outdoors and Adventure Trek programing can be a part of the solution!
